Shaheed, who is command by the UN Human Rights Council to scout and relate on the condition in Iran said that silencing these critics voices is unsatisfactory and it imbibe public discussion and exclude Iranians and the rest of world of significant information on the reality in the country....

Amnesty demands release of activists jailed in Iran for more than a decade

According  an statement is published  on 2 June 2015 by 
Amnesty International two Iranian women both jailed for more than ten years  in Iran for anti-government views must be released immediately

Cartoonist Atena Farghadani has been condemned to more than 12 years in prison, and Atena Daemi to more than ten years  in prison, both guilty of 'peaceful activism' that are in violation  of their rights to free expression and association, the human rights body said.

Hassiba Hadj Sahraoui, Amnesty International’s Deputy Director for the Middle East and North Africa, added: "Atena Farghadani has effectively been punished for her cartoons with a sentence that is itself a  rugged caricature of justice. No one should be in prison for their art or  irenic activism.
